Thanks for the reply. Map Display resolution to the maximum has sorted out the issue.

Hi, I cannot find a setting to increase the normal size of the road name text that is displayed.
if you zoom in the text is displayed briefly at a larger size then reverts to the small, unreadable by me, without glasses, size.
With some maps if you zoom in enough eventually the text is displayed ...
