[closed] Export to DXF format

Post by tchiwam »

Is it possible to add this feature ? Exporting in 1m scale to a DXF file ? 0,0 as a start point. This would make my job so much easier and faster. Simply email the dxf to the CAD guys to place cabling on the drawings and voila.

It's already great to have so many maps at your finger tip to compare cable runs trough all overlays, the only step missing is DXF export.

Hi and thanks for your interest in our application.
I don't know this format so I can't tell you right now if this is possible... If the format specs are open, it's much easier, but it also depends on its complexity...
Generally speaking, we'd better work on input formats rather than output ones, but I'll have a look at this format and let you know.
Best regards

Hi,
I did have a look at the format specification and it's quite complex and mostly used by professional so I won't add this file format for now.
Moreover, I'm currently working on the SHP format support which can be imported in AutoCAD, and right now, it already possible to convert KML or GPX files to the SHP format using online tools.
Sorry about that
Best regards

Why do you need support for the DXF format? Does the software you use support other formats?
