[closed] Two open Topo maps listings

There are two open topo maps listings. The first there in available Maps is underneath the open street maps tab. The second, is an independent first level open topo maps listing. The first one's URLs never connects. It should be removed.

Hi,
Yes this map is available from 2 map groups: "Open Topo Map", its own group, and from the built-in OSM maps, where it has been added recently. However both are working fine for me.

Not for me.
(But I forgot which one was broke.)
I think there should only be one.
Else on Wednesday I download a lot of area X.
Then on Thursday I wastefully download lots of the same area, because I forgot which of the two I picked.

Maybe the app, upon update could silently combine the user's caches into one, and remove the other.

You should only use the one listed in the built-in maps. Just remove the other version.

Both are working fine for me.

OSMOTM.DAT still stuck, when connecting from Taiwan. It just can't get any new tiles. Always see "not available."

Also, using the cell phone, looking up as much details as possible, sure one can see the file path, except for what the URL pattern is simply not available without connecting to a fancy computer to find out what your app is actually using.

As you can see, I'm able to see what the DAT file is called. But there's no way for me to see what URL pattern the app is using. Sure I can connect to computer to dig it out out but it's it's too terrible that it is simply not visible otherwise.

Here I can even copy "CS/PROJCS/MERCATOR_SPHERICAL/SHIFTED" but I cannot see the URL pattern.

Okay, and indeed sometimes it does work after all. Anyways, it would be great to have that URL template visible right there in the app....
