AlpineQuest 1.0.1 has been released today on the market.
This is a minor version released in order to deliver some features as soon as possible.
Here is the list of enhancements:

It seems that you don't have the required Java runtime installed. You need Java > 1.6 (update 14).

Do you mean in the Map creator or in AlpineQuest ?
A lot of new features are planned for GPX management inside AlpineQuest, like some you are mentioning : multiple waypoints, copy/cut waypoints, etc...

I understand your point of view, but this can also be seen as a good think : you can add multiple different configurations ('layers'), and then create all maps in one time.

Yes you're right, this is a great feature that I will try to add soon. The major problem will be the determination of the right moment of the switch, but should be OK.
