Concerning the map preview, you can change it using a special setting, add this line in the existing "user_settings.conf" file in the application folder:
maps.features.onlinemaps.default_osm_map=1

Yes, the behavior in the 2.3.6 version is correct. As far as I remember this is not new, it has been like this for some time and requested by a 4PDA user (Placid River if I remember correctly).
The purpose is to match the Google Earth display:

May I ask what kind of files are you trying to access from this folder?

By the way, in the next update there will be a new user setting that will make the app do delete those locations instead of gathering them.
This way you'll have the same behavior as before.
This user setting will be:

In this case export all your pictures waypoints in a single KMZ files with the pictures included.
Then try to find an app that can convert all your pictures in the format you want.

Pour le moment le seul moyen est de presser le menu GPS pour temporairement désactiver la position GPS lorsque vous n'en avez pas besoin.

You can select any coordinate format, not only decimal coordinates.

It's not possible exactly like this.

What you can do it tap on a picture waypoints -> Details.
Tap the 3-dots menu at the bottom/left of the map preview, and choose "Export as", select "JPG/Image".
