Yes you are right, the waypoints created using the "center menu" are located where is the center mark. :(

You are right, I didn't know the screen center menu.
If I have several landmarks and I am recording I could shift the center from my current position and tap on it and add a waypoint. This is of course better than the annoying behaviour ....

AQ have several methods to zoom: - using +/- buttons on map view panel - using volume up/down key ( if selected on settings ) - pinch-to-zoom gesture with two fingers
Last weekend ( using AQ 1.4.10 ) I finally had the oportunity to full test the "Follow path" feature. It was in a circular track, with the particularity of have on the way out and in the return one kilometer in common. From this experience I have some suggestions I would like to make:
